HEALTH INSURANCE
Health insurance provides essential benefits such as financial protection from unexpected medical costs, access to necessary medical care including preventive services, and peace of mind by reducing stress about potential medical emergencies. It often allows for faster treatment compared to relying solely on public health services and offers comprehensive coverage, including inpatient and outpatient treatments, mental health support, and sometimes even dental and vision care. Before proceeding we check the followings:
Cost: Compare the costs of different plans and consider what fits your budget while still providing adequate coverage.
Provider Network: Ensure the insurance plan has a good network of healthcare providers in your area.

Holders of a Student Visa.Applicants for a Student Visa (Subclass 500) who hold a Bridging Visa (Subclass 10, 20, 050-051) and were previously Student Visa holders. This ensures that students waiting for a new visa while on a bridging visa can obtain and must hold OSHC. However, those applying for a permanent visa are not considered Overseas Students and are not required to hold OSHC.
